The Healthy Brain Clinic
Led by Dr Ash Connell, an AHPRA-registered chiropractor with additional certifications in qEEG, neurofeedback and biofeedback, The Healthy Brain Clinic uses quantitative EEG to clinically examine the brain’s electrical activity. This non-invasive examination is explained to you in plain English, and we work alongside your GP, psychologist or psychiatrist.
The Technology
To accurately assess which part of the brain requires improvement, the clinic employs QEEG technology that measures brain activity via corresponding brain waves. Based on the results, Dr. Ash tailors a personalized treatment plan that includes neurofeedback, biofeedback, dietary advice, and supplementation to assist patients in achieving optimal brain function and performance.
âś…Biofeedback is a therapeutic technique that empowers individuals to gain control over their physiological processes such as heart rate, muscle tension, and skin temperature. By providing real-time data on these bodily functions, it helps patients understand and manage their body's responses, ultimately promoting relaxation, stress reduction, and improved physical and mental well-being.
Personalised Treatment
âś…Neurofeedback is a non-invasive therapeutic approach that trains individuals to regulate and optimize their brainwave activity through real-time monitoring and feedback. By enhancing self-awareness and teaching self-regulation, Neurofeedback can aid in addressing various conditions such as anxiety, ADHD, and insomnia, leading to improved cognitive function, emotional well-being, and overall mental health for patients.
âś…Dietary Guidance and Supplementation.
In tandem with advanced neurotechnologies, The Healthy Brain Clinic offers tailored dietary guidance and supplementation strategies as integral components of patient care. These personalized nutritional interventions complement the holistic approach, optimizing brain health, and enhancing cognitive performance for our patients.
People come to us for many reasons. Rather than list conditions, we start with an examination: a qEEG shows how your brain is regulating itself, and we explain what it shows in plain English. Where your goals sit outside what we do, or alongside care you are already receiving, we say so and work with your GP, psychologist or psychiatrist.
Understanding how you regulate
Some people come to us not because something is wrong, but because they want to understand how they are regulating under load. The examination is the same.
